Rehobeth Elementary School is home to approximately 600 students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades and is situated in a rural community just outside of Dothan, Alabama. Our school is dedicated to fostering a supportive and enriching educational environment for all our students.
Academic and Extracurricular Highlights
- Fifth and Sixth Grade Honor Choirs Our talented fifth and sixth graders can participate in grade level Honor Choirs, where they have the opportunity to develop their vocal skills and perform in various events.
- Beginning Band: Starting in sixth grade, students can join the Beginning Band, where they learn the fundamentals of playing an instrument and performing in a group.
- BETA Club: We are proud to have an active BETA Club that recognizes and promotes high academic achievement, character, leadership, and service among our students. Members participate in various service projects and leadership activities, fostering a sense of community and responsibility.

- Rural Setting: Located outside of Dothan, our school benefits from a close-knit, supportive community atmosphere that values education and personal growth.
House System
To foster a sense of community, teamwork, and friendly competition, we have implemented a House System. Each student and staff member belongs to one of four houses:
- Leader House: Focused on developing leadership skills, teamwork, and responsibility.
- Explorer House: Encourages curiosity, discovery, and a love for learning.
- Achiever House: Promotes academic excellence, determination, and goal-setting.
- Dreamer House: Inspires creativity, innovation, and visionary thinking.
Throughout the year, houses compete in various academic and athletic events, earning points for their house. The house with the most points at the end of the year wins the House Cup.

- Curriculum: A comprehensive curriculum that includes core subjects like Math, Science, English, and Social Studies, as well as Music and Physical Education.
- Special Programs: We provide special education services, gifted and talented programs, and support for English language learners.
- Library and Technology: Our library is stocked with a wide range of books and classrooms are equipped with the latest technology.
Parent and Community Involvement
- PTO: Our active Parent-Teacher Organization supports many school events and activities.
- Volunteering: We encourage parents and community members to volunteer and participate in school events.

- Attendance: Regular attendance is crucial for student success.
- Safety: We have strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all students. Our gates will be closed to through traffic from 7:15 until 3:15. Students may only be picked up in car line if the car has a car tag labeled with the student’s name.
